Crying, Screaming, Burning, Gays, and putting your knife to someone’s throat! It’s fabulous and feral at the same time. Tears into my heart and soul, and crushes them, but also builds them again. This is the kind of book we all need to read in our lives, never want burn the gays trope, but the gays burning everyone else trope. 10/10

Really good so far, love learning about African culture and seeing how much we can rely on each other and understand each other in ways no one else can. Very descriptive and is overall a good read so far. POV changes are a little sudden but I guess that’s normal lmao
