i feel like it’s 2011 and i’m reading the hunger games for the first time all over again! So many parallels, so many aha moments 🥺 don’t want it to end!!

i get why this is one of those dark academia “must reads” everyone puts on the syllabus. the atmosphere is heavy with intrigue and quiet tension. but honestly… it hasn’t swept me up the way i hoped and i’m more restless than enthralled so far
