well, finally. The plot starts now, 80 pages in. this book could use one of those then and now narrative devices to get going before reader quits in frustration and boredom.

too much finance for a “horror rom-com” (per misleading blurb). It is not horror; neither is this a -com. Also, the business is not about “dating” corpses but about purchasing them as toys, nothing less and nothing more. Corpses in this book a just labubus or pet rocks, not any “dates”. is the marketing intentionally misleading??

enjoying the book, not bad at all for a debut novel, 250 is a perfect number of pages for this type of novel (rom-com) imo and I am ready for the story to start wrapping it up but there are 200 more pages to go.

This book is a tale of fraud, senility, and incredible cowardice. he deserved what he’s got, and should pay a penalty as a willing accessory to the crime

Also, so many people who suspected fraud left or were fired but noone went to FBI to report this massive fraud and patient endangerment. All who willingly partook in this company incl. its incompetent - and incontinent - “board” should have done time and be barred from all but adult diapers. This story makes me so very angry
