what is wrong with people who are afraid of yapping lawyers with empty threats and some lame papers more than they are afraid of the law that panisches fraud and harm to patients. i just can’t with all this cowardly bunch on one side and incontinent seniors on another

to quote Bulgakov, “cowardice is the most terrible of vices.” I hate all these people, especially those who quit to protect their asses but wouldn’t do the only right thing (go to the authorities) to protect innocent patients

so, this, uh, kitten of a man, let fraudsters “pressure” him into deleting evidence from his personal account and violating his privacy instead of going to the authorities to report a massive healthcare fraud. This book is a tale of fraud, senility, and incredible cowardice. he deserved what he’s got, and should pay a penalty as a willing accessory to the crime

old rich has-beens should never be in charge of anything of public value. Also, so many people who suspected fraud left or were fired but noone went to FBI to report this massive fraud and patient endangerment. All who willingly partook in this company incl. its incompetent - and incontinent - “board” should have done time and be barred from all but adult diapers. This story makes me so very angry

a bunch of clowns wasting rich senior citizens’ money lol what a circus

a real page-turner, with tension and suspense, and great pacing. Keeps me reading despite the fact that i know the details of this scandal well

man, this book is sooooo good, lol’ing as i’m reading. also - only 225 pages in my library e copy. hope it stays this good 🙏

i am on page 52, and absolutely nothing of interest is happening. I read Cabin 10 when it came out so I don’t remember anything about it, like, at all, and instead of a brief and effective exposition to remind me (nightmares, flashbacks, post ptsd therapy, anything simple), the author chooses to describe various fancy interiors, and let’s face it, it’s not Crazy Rich Asians-good, either. Mid so far

this is freaking genius, i can’t believe i’ve never heard of this author, let alone read his work. so good

one of the best books I’ve read in years; quite possibly a future Gen Z literary classic; also, the first protagonist I am rooting for in months ❤️ Margo, sweetie, you GO girl! Can’t wait to see how the story ends.

reading the novel at this point like watching a horror movie, peeking through my fingers, yelling at the pages “No! Jane! stop! too far! get out! now!” More terrifying than cringy. oh man
