I started reading this book a week ago. I needed to put it down at the beginning of page 187 (The Story Sculptor). Trying to catch up with the imagery got too much for me. A rest from reading this book was required. 09 October shook me as I proceeded to read - the Sculptor's hands were cut off 😳😳😳

I tried the Banana Crumble with Coconut Flour (page 162). The crumbly texture wasn't there. I guess I should have poured the coconut oil and sweetener (I used organic brown rice syrup) slowly and stopped so that the mixture wasn't too wet. I will try to make this again.

Marilou Scott is finished with I Quit Sugar: Your Complete 8-Week Detox Program and Cookbook

I love this cookbook and have been using it for three months. Unfortunately the binding gave way and the pages just started coming off. It can't stand up to rigorous use in the kitchen. I even have a book stand but it didn't help. I returned the book and I was given a new copy. I am not too sure if it will do the same thing. Sarah's new book looks like it has better binding.
