Amazing super great read, already!

Really good but 2/3 through it’s starting to drag a little. Best as audio book with the author doing the narration in his own voice.

I'm sad to say I have aborted this book. I love the topic but it just is too much of a play by play: Bohr said to Nielson that he thought Einstein was taking it to seriously. And the next day .... But also, it is too heavy in physics, nuclear physics in particular. Very hard to follow.

So far *not* a great read!

I am getting suspicious that I am falling for books with great PR. I mean after all, what did I know about this book before I picked it up? That it had a cool cover and that I had heard or read about it ("it has a real underground railroad with conductors and EVERYTHING!) over and over again.

Until my mind decided that it must be a good book -- GREAT PR! But based on what?

about 40% through. A lot of story about the protagonist not enough historical detail about the time and WW1.

I just finished All the Light We Cannot See: A Novel and gave it 3 stars.

Although a YA or even kids book, a pretty good read so far!

Very interesting and important

I just finished Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption and gave it 4 stars.

So far I am loving it!

OK. I have to say that I put this down after "book 1" but that was already about 200 pages. if you want to know, Jean valjean has been exposed and is back in prison. lets see whether I get back it it :-)

Very engaging given whats going on now in that part of the world...
