Historically, I am at the Greek and Roman empire. At the moment, Plato had started to taught Aristotles. So it will take a little while until I can arrive at postmodern time. Sorry, not postmodern but post genomic era!! :P

I have never been to Iceland but I can feel so much of Icelandic touch by reading this book. I love Laxness writing. It is really funny, and charming. In the beginning, I thought the sentences were very long and complicated, still I like it. I should finish this very soon. :) Happy book for me!

Very good analysis. However, as He is religious, some of example he used come from the book he believe and for me, it is uncomfortable. However, if we can move beyond this I think it is a very insightful and interesting books.

Pessoa is brilliant. It tooks me longer to finish this book. :(

Although,I have read many spiritual books,I am also skeptical. In scienctific writing, everything are tight to hard facts, you do not get away with bluffing.This book was written by a Psychiatrist and provided references. He's Christian and a lot of his work were based on his religious believes. Somehow, he is not too "blind" and I, as an agnostic,and understand his concept. Let's see how this will progress.
