Did I pre-order this book for the author event? Yes. Am I currently reading a library copy so I can read it before I get my own copy on Saturday? Also yes.

For a while I’ve been joking that goodreads is the only social media I actually update but the more I think about it the more real that is. You may not know what I’m up to but you’ll always know what I’m reading.

If I had a nickel for every character in a book I’ve read recently that had the name Euphemia I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it’s happened twice.

There something really amazing about returning to a world that was such a big part of my childhood, but a new perspective. You can tell the author has grown up just like the rest of us.
