A closer read this time through.

I am digging this book but having a bit of a hard time holding on the how the ourobourousness works in relation to in-narrative “real-world” time.

It was sort of good and intriguing until the while Presbyterians/Catholics thing started and then suddenly I didn’t give a shit about the outcome. But by God, #dickensofasummer25 says I have to finish it sooooo….l

#3 in The Dickens of a Summer Readathon.

Not as humorous as Pickwick Papers of course, but has it merits. The scene in which Bill Sikes kills Nancy and then runs from the scene is edge-of-the-seat gripping though.

There’s sort of a limit to the number of times that everything can be lost. It’s sort of exhausting.

Interesting story, but just sort of meh writing.
