Didn’t realise this was the sequel to Shirley Jackson’s book lol

I love the supernatural elements to this book and the writing - However

I feel like none of the characters have any chemistry - how could Amanda see that Nisa and Stevie had slept together after a day whilst Nisa’s girlfriend Holly is none the wiser??

And Holly is so unlikeable

How does one come up with this story it’s so good

It’s got personality liking it so far

It’s very different from the series almost like 2 different stories

I thought this book would be like a documentary but it’s written as a story which I found a bit unnerving tbh

I feel like I need the book to be deeper into the emotion

The mum still irritates me

The mother is annoying me but maybe I don’t have the full story yet of course

So interesting

Liking it so far love how it’s straight to the point

It’s written well and precise which I like

There’s just something about this book that is making it hard to read but the film is so good

I like it so far there’s so many aspects to this story and each chapter is left with a feeling of suspense - it’s very interesting

It’s a whole book of nothingness

Like does it really need to be 450 pages ??

This story is actually so interesting and love all the layers to it
