That random spicy scene felt a bit rushed and out of place.

I was hating the main character so much, and was about to give up on the book. But thankfully things turned around and in the characters’ dialogues you can find some gems.

If this trilogy is an allegory of the climate crisis, then it’s the perfect depiction of how people with power and money will do everything to remain powerful over others. They would disenfranchise governmental institutions/individuals who want to create real change for the benefit of the collective.

Pages 129-131 killed me. I am no more.

Had to re-start this book. Wasn’t in the right mental space to appreciate its beauty the first time 🩷✨
