I'm on Chapter 29 and am only at 29% What is wrong with this picture? I feel like I've traveled for miles when in all actuality I haven't even left the driveway yet. No matter my slow journey, I am really liking this story.

definitely a book for adolescent males. Some formatting issues. Paragraph and speaker hard to discern.

First, I love the cover! Second, again the love seems to be happening too quickly. And this is just my taste, but the angels/demons seem too human to me. On a side note, there is a lot of tossing out big vocabulary words as well. Incarnation and deciduous. These were not on my high school vocab lists when I was in school.

Beginning. Chapter 1. Why did the perspective just change from third to first? Was that intentional?

Yep the romance is completely superficial. Out of eons, of never being tempted, Jared is tempted now... I don't understand why. Totally shallow angel. He just liked her for her looks or her power? Both? Again, they've only had a few conversations together... Are all YA books like this? It is definitely something to look into before I wrote my next novel.

Was it just me or was that timeline confusing? Maybe I should do some research... or maybe I read it wrong...

Wow Nelly! That escalated quickly. Lor and Jared spoke like three times in one day and then it jumps to "Because if you had died, I would never have seen you again." Okay... doesn't this seem a bit superficial? Basically all I've seen is a physical attraction on her part. And his part? Nothing... he's an angel or whatever, living for many eons and he likes her? Why? What makes her so special? Hmmm...

Okay, dealing with the whole space time continuum is tricky. If Amanda Parks' prayer saved her father than how did Jared or Azreal know about the deaths in the first place? Did Amanda not pray the first time? Or was this already a planned event, a known event, and the prayer changed things? If so, then the prayer would be known too... my head is spinning. Dealing with this kind of thing bugs me.

Still on team Cameron. Maybe I should start focusing on the writing and not so much on which boy I think she should end up with.
