Idk how I feel about this book. I can see both sides of the situation, but even so, I don't know how I would even react if this was my life and that was my son.
I feel like this could be a very controversial read. How a mistake like that can destroy not just the people involved but the whole family unit.
Would love to hear other opinions about it.

I went into this for a dark Mafia Romance. This... is not that. There's sex one to two times a chapter. That's waaay to much.
There's only so many sex scenes you can write before it gets repetitive and boring.

It's so sad what human beings will do to other human beings over something as trivial as skin color. What honestly should matter is whether or not the human being is an arsehole. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Good so far. Found an error. Friend tells her not to open door, cause of secret. She opens door anyway and finds secret. Friend knows she did open door and discover secret somehow without there being a discussion. Her knowing isn't questioned? Supposed to happen? Did I miss something?

I haven't gotten to far into it yet, but hopefully it's as educational and funny as the last one. Here's hoping! 😀

I know my brain is tired from taking care of a baby all the time but I don't really understand what I'm reading... I can get the gist of it but I'm very confused about things.
It could be because the characters seem to have multiple names, so that probably doesn't help.

It's just so sad. I have a theory as to what happened to her and if what I think happened was true then it's very sad that no one believes her and thinks it's her fault.
I'm not one for religious type novels, most aren't written in a positive light and this one is no exception. It makes me sick that people like this actually exist in the world.
