Let me sum up this book so far:
Elizabeth “I’m so special, different, and progressive, I’m not like other girls!! I don’t want to get married because society wants me to, I hate all religious people because they are all obviously anti-science bible thumpers and scam artists. I believe society needs to give women more credit, but I also am a pick me and thus believe that I am better and smarter than them”

THE LACK OF SELF AWARENESS IS SHOCKING 😭

To sum this book up:
She should have written a fictional book instead

Selma clearly wants to be seen as the main character, and she acts like a horrible, snotty one the whole time, in a memoir it’s disgusting, but I think if this were fiction I might actually enjoy it.

I just can’t enjoy a real story about a woman who tries to kill herself every time a guy breaks up with her, that’s the shittiest thing ever
