elizabeth just ruined the whole story- fuck you and dem kids. her bring pregnant is just blah. had to put the book down.

took me a bit to get into the flow of the book, but i like it so far. julia’s character is very reliable.

the beginning is bit chaotic, feels like some sentences are just thrown in randomly.

i don’t want to finish! marcus and olive, perf combination.

isla has me confused, like i understand she’s in a vulnerable space, but can’t seriously expect olive to her life in hold. she’s also a vulnerable space. again, the friend group lacks compassion.

i’m sad that i only have like 60ish pages left. i would follow an olive storyline lol

this mystery guy… i like with olive. but again her friend groups lack compassion. yall are all going through life changes and someone going through something else isn’t an attack on you. they’re competing with one another.

i feel like olive is set in the cfbc mindset, but there’s still a 1% lingering in her.

has to put the book down and get back to doing my actual job. it’s a good read, and i’m kinda obsessing over this wave of CFCB, and the true understanding of it. it’s not a selfish act and it’s pretty brave to go against the grain and not do what society beats into your brain from your birth.

giving the climate of the society today, it’s giving your wants to protect your future kids from a lost world.

throughly enjoying gannon. i just finished table for one a few days ago, and immediately got this book on 1/3.

olive is pretty all over the place and her friends kinda suck. she could level out her chaos more if her sister was around more, b/c her friends are so wrapped up in they “traditional” lives that olive is getting left behind and is the only one some decent sense.
