Enjoying this book a lot right now! Just finished section 1 which is about the things that give you energy. I love the way Abdaal writes about these topics: explains the concept, backs it with studies and shares anecdotes. Having the right blend of these makes or breaks a book for me and Abdaal is getting his points across beautifully.

Yeah I think this is my new addiction😂 From the first 25% of this book, you can tell it was always meant to build into an epic series. Even knowing there’s probably a thousand more pages before I reach that finale, I’m seriously enjoying this first book as a story of it’s own.

I’m really enjoying this right now and each chapter explains a different aspect of self-justification. It’s super fascinating how powerful the human brain is.

I’m enjoying the book, but feel as though I haven’t had a ton of takeaways yet. Then again, I’m just now getting to the parts that interested me.

The book is incredible thus far. I do sometimes get lost in the jargon/characters, but I’m enjoying watching the twist unfold!

Happy to almost be done with this. A daunting, but fascinating read!

I've barely begun, but I am already extremely interested in reading about where the future of health and medicine is heading with the exponential growth in technology. One specific concept that blew my mind was how AI will be able to assist in solving health problems that are currently impractical or inhumane to test but will be able to be tested virtually with nearly the same accuracy and precision.

“Like justice, it existed in theory”. I’m oddly invested in this book. I’m normally one that chases spectacle, but the main character Elwood genuinely intrigues me.

Yet to really talk about the Screen Trade, but there’s tons of useful insights into Hollywood and the entertainment industry.

I LOVE this serious. Like so so much and I can’t wait for it to be adapted into a fantastic show/movie some day! (CAST ME IN IT)

Loved the Life Principles, excited for the Work Principles!

Didn't really care for the autobiography section, but I'm loving the Principles so far!

Honestly mindblown at some of the horrifically descriptive imagery depicted throughout this book. I was a little lost with the "character chapters" but once you understand their structure, it embellishes the story.
