It’s pretty good so far and Dax’s inner turmoil is setting up for a good story. It is bothering me a little that they became “the best tea monk in Penga” in the span of 2 years, but I reckon it won’t matter much for the rest of the story.

Made it to Ch. 9 (finished ch. 8) before having to return the book to the library. I’m really enjoying it so far. Miranda is every bit the menace I expected from the title. I do think Andrea is being a little entitled, but I sympathize with her feelings that her boss is extremely unreasonable.

This is not very good so far. The book repeats details a lot and does not focus on super interesting ideas. I did not need a whole page about methods used to keep your hair out of your face while you fly. It was an ok gag to start the chapter, but did not need to go on as long as it did. The repetition/redundancy is too much. Thankfully, this is a very short book, so I’ll probably finish it anyways.
