Wow this is really really good. Can’t believe I waited this long to start this series.

Yeah this book is real real good.

Coming back to Crescent City after a 4 month break. I LOVE this world and these characters. The atmosphere just hits different. I don’t necessarily think Crescent City is the best series from SJM but it sure is my favorite.

Graphic audio part 2 doesn’t come out until March so I’ll have to wait until then to completely finish.

I could not give less of a shit whatever the hell Nesryn is doing in this book. I’m all about that Chaol and Yrene.

Definitely the best book of the tandem read. Weakest part is probably Elide and her traveling companion.

I am sad now

I’m back on the “Captain Westfall is a bitch” bandwagon. Fuck this guy. All aboard the Dorian train, I hope. He was always my favorite.

Wonder what’s next. I have a feeling this king’s champion thing is going to run its course eventually. She’s gotta like escape or find some excuse to go on an adventure. Maybe when this stuff with Archer is resolved in some way? Idk

Yep. That’s Auderlan’s assassin alright.

Onto the second part of the book now. Wonder why Part 2 is called The Queen’s Arrow. Maybe a wordplay on Archer? That’s my only guess. Idk

Part 1 tho. Easy going mostly. Slow burn. Ramps up toward the end. I like it more than ToG already.

“I would be the greatest fool in the world to let you go alone.” Best line in whole book so far.

Dorian is about to make his own trouble too. Be careful with your secrets my dude. Wonder who he will spill to first.
