Muah muah muah, loving this. Chapter 2 is giving donna j. haraway the privilege of partial perspective vibes. Love analysis of representational techniques and the ways their development shapes epistemology. Chapter 3/4 gets into it, his critique of baroque2academicism era female nudes as a function of class and misogyny is great. Just googled him, dude came up with the male gaze concept.
