Doublethink and the slogans of Big Brother:

I am confusion!

I had to reread multiple chapters of this book to understand what is going on because it’s complicated and complex.

It challenges our concept of time/reality “piercing the veil of perception”. “Time is an illusion, a construct made out of human memory. There’s no such thing as the past, the present or the future. It’s all happening now.”
