Man. Purest love I’ve ever read. Nothing captures the feeling so well. The pain of goodbye. The passage of time in the context of the war prep is clear and historical.

Heating up. The dives into the characters, with their respective heritages and histories and experiences, have become far more crucial; I’m recognizing the importance of the biographies. Uncovering the motives for the conflict. The writing is simple, pure, and essentially Washington.

Loving it. In line with TKAM. Imagery is incredible. Easy to imagine the culture of the island.
