Reading E. M. Cioran will make you think Nietzsche was an optimist.

This doesn't feel like I'm reading a philosophy book. It feels as if I'm reading my "personal" journal.

Going through a crisis right now, feeling like that stranger that will never fit in, never be like the rest. As small as my existence may be from the outside, from the inside i am the universe. and i feel lost.

Will be reading more camus and kafka from now on.

Confusing.

This is a very pleasant surprise!
I'm fond of characters i can connect with. Lazy, idle, emotionless , unbothered, but Meursault is different, i don't know how but he's different.

He's not emotionless, or inhuman, he's just indifferent, he can get a liking to you or wish to spend time with you, but won't cry if you leave.

Let's see what part 2 does.

The start was a bit dull, the characters a little emotionless ( I'm one to talk about emotions ) to the point it made me weirdly uncomfortable and soon i was trapped in the melancholy, the main character is weirdly relatable sometimes.

Overall it's growing on me

“Senpai.”
“I want to eat some dango.”
“What’s up with that all of a sudden?”
“I’m tired, so I decided I wanted to eat some dango.”
do you even have money on you?”
Hearing this, she finally turned to look at me over her shoulder.
“You have some, right?”

They could be such a good couple, well they are practically on a date anyway.

i started this book expecting fun not misery.
