okay so i’m really liking it but it seriously is just kinda a mash up of the last two books. like at its core it’s fake boyfriend (fake out), girlfriend that is too nervous to be herself because of ex (both of the last 2), and all that. it is really cute though and i love hayden and darcy as characters

so far it’s meh obviously super early to make a decision but still. it just feels like the author mashed together all the other characters from the last two books and made hayden and darcy. half of the like traits they’ve shown so far have been traits the characters had in the last two. i don’t need to hear about wards injury again i know. plus idk if im going to like this whole ex bf’s best friend thing

i’m never going to finish this book with how many diagrams i need to look at to fully explain everything that’s happening. how is there possibly this much information in the first two chapters

The tie between how Katniss and Coriolanus act with paranoia is insane. They’re both always panicked about how people are acting/thinking, and the idea of losing control of the people around them or the situation. The differences are also so cool because in my opinion Katniss is looking for control of her own life and well being (and ofc her loved ones safety) while snow is looking to control everything.
