It’s been good so far! I’ve been reading it in smaller chunks which I’m not sure whether it hurts or helps me. I think we will have a lot to talk about during book club… I don’t usually like the past/present day pulls and this bops around timeline-wise a lot and I’m only 40 pages in

What a crazy plot. Fantastic plane read - very engaging. I don’t love the writing just yet, I don’t think he nails down the female characters quite right, but it’s been interesting!

I’m unfortunately really disappointed. I’m not sure if it’s other people’s thoughts influencing how I read it, or just coming off of Throne of Glass, or if the writing is truly different this book, but it’s not as exciting/im not as locked in!! Need to put in work to finish by next Tues

Fantastic. So well done and the plot was so great.

It’s very interesting, I’m enamored and reading the book very quickly, but dread each perspective shift. at this point in the book I’m not enjoying any of the story lines but I still want to know what happens. I also feel like I have weird biases against people for no reason - not sure why!!

Very good read so far! Well written and easy to read. I like the author’s tone and how everything is being woven in.

I have really liked this so far! It’s cute that you’re in the perspective of her & I feel like the author does a great job of showing the tension between the relationship of her family.
