What a heavy chapter….Ricardo has balls after still wanting to continue after all that.

Finished Chapter 2 and I hate this Diaz guy.

The amount of violent history Mexico has doesn’t surprise me but it’s the finer details of who Diaz was in the beginning. It reminds me of Harmony from red rising. Someone who once stood for a cause but has forgotten the plot and all they see is self preservation.

Great start, glad how this introduction give me so much info I didn’t already know.

Once again, Sol is just the perfect husbando.

David is right about funding our education system in a better way. It’s why we are where we are now.

This book is inspiring now. I like how David provided plenty of examples of countries using a social democratic mindset and showing just how well they are now. Having an educated public is everything. Now how do we move from where we are at now, to hopefully convincing people that the system we have right now needs major changes.

I’m glad David pointed out where the left also goes wrong in their echo chambers. Great analysis.

Basically Republicans will say anything to say it’s the democrats fault. Republicans have done a wonderful job of making people just auto defaulting into thinking they are fiscally responsible when they are elected into office. I knew this already but it’s nice the book is being specific. Also based Bill Clinton was super fucking good for the economy. Fuck you Newt you also cheated!

Bill Clinton was acquitted of his charges from getting a blowjob a year after I was born. Wild shit.

Finally the throwback to those characters

Sometimes you gotta do what ya gotta do. Fuck morality. But seriously. It’s what makes us human.

The spin is nuts but makes sense. I’m really liking where the story is going. I just wish more characters have been introduced. Once again Princess Donut is stealing the show.

Book has its highs and lows. Mostly highs though.

This book is very fun now.

ICE was not on my list of expected characters to appear. Fitting they turned out to be a bunch of bloodthirsty murderers.

Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.

I wish they kept the same artist for volume 3 for the entire book. Art work wasn’t great the start. Now there is a huge difference.
