Absolutely loving this. How unapologetically loud her portrayal of sex, attraction, and power is. Reading this after reading her quotes/diary truly helped illustrate her mind and own relationship with sex. You feel her need, her nature with her explicit expression of what it means to want and need a man and/or release,,,

Got like three chapters in before realizing the narrator was a man and the bubbling infatuating wlw dynamic between her and her sister was really one of a perverted man.. so disappointed. while that is what first immersed me in the book the mc’s dilemma on modern philosophy and a want for knowledge is what keeps me, super interesting! don’t expect less from a gothic pioneer
