After failing miserably for weeks to find a novel that gripped me, I decided to give myself a break from fiction and expand my mind a little. How glad I am that I chose this book! 5% in, and I've had a silly little smile on my face since the first page... what a brilliant enlightening fun read so far :D

I'm torn and confused by this book. I'm loving the premise and the unfolding of the actual storyline, but there's something about the writing that's just not sitting well with me. As of yet, I can't precisely put my finger on it, but it's just not "reading" well...

Oh my God, Gillian Flynn, you are a wicked twisted evil manipulator.... But I do like you! ;-)

I am trying very hard not to jump the gun and form too harsh an opinion of the author, but it has to be said, I'm struggling! Snobbish and uptight are the overriding character traits that are springing to mind so far...

Second dud in a row! I just found this book really really boring. There was nothing original about it, other than it being set in the not too distant future, which added nothing to the story in my opinion...

I'm afraid I'm gonna have to give up on this one. The writing just doesn't flow and I'm not enjoying a single second reading it!

Really intrigued as to how the central mystery will be explained....

Obviously I haven't become bilingual overnight, I am of course reading the English version of this, but can't find it here on Goodreads.

This us the 3rd book of the series. After reading the 2nd book, I commented that the authors writing had improved, I'm glad to say that improvement has continued. I am really enjoying this book and haven't been distracted once so far by poor writing, can't wait to continue....

Due to a temporary mobility problem, the weight has creeper on. Due to a temporary mobility problem I want to comfort eat!! Hoping this book will help me be good SOME of the time :-\

Due to my ridiculous OCD think, I will have to continue reading as I am unable to leave a book unfinished. However my verdict so far is dire! All of the characters are hateful and the dialogue is like something out of a 1970's episode of the Sweeney.

I am praying to anyone or anything that may be out there.... Please, please, please don't let this book go downhill! I am devouring it word by word, page by page and relishing every letter.... Please don't disappoint me book, I beg of you!

I'm a bit peeved.... In the last few chapters, the main character has had a "passionate" thought, and each time has found that she'd actually spoken it out load. Now this girl is meant to be a hot shot lawyer, I wouldn't have thought that would be an advantageous trait in that occupation. Once I could handle, but third time now..... So annoying because I'm loving the actual storyline :-\

Not so Mills & Boone as the last, so far, long may it continue, as I'm completely enthralled by the storyline.

Well, seems my kindle misbehaved during my last upload, and I have a few books with just the first few pages! All sorted now, let the reading continue!

Well.... Slight snag! Read couple of pages and noticed I was 74% through, flicked to end to realise I've only got the first chapter! It's now 1am, so think I'll leave that little mystery until the morning to sort out. Still not sleepy, so will start another book in the meantime :-\

Mmmm... Totally my genre, and I do like a crime story set in the UK as 90% of the books I read are US based, it's nice to have some familiarity... However nearly a third of the way in and I'm not hooked yet, a fair amount has happened, but I still feel like I'm treading water - we shall endure and see...

Love tidbits like this, problem is I forget them to easily....

Really enjoying this one so far. The story line is intriguing and the main character is easy to like.

Not my normal cup of tea and have to say I'm struggling.... I'll finish it cos I've never left a book unfinished, but shan't be bothering with the rest of the series I imagine :-\
