Reading this book is just thinking "Caaaaarl, that kills people!"

The gasps I keep gasping.

I'm screaming.

I... do not like this writing. At all. Like, the wife mentions they haven't "chritistened the new house." The literal next sentence is "referring to the long time it has been since we were intimate together."

Like, it just feels like cluttered writing.

"There is no shame in wanting to protect those who are your hive, even if you never knew them."

Oh look, another traumatized character by Sara Raasch. I love him.
