Got used to the overly flowery writing and forced metaphor use and I'm actually quite interested n how the story is unravelling.

Also I don't really like the friends to lovers, second-chance tropes but here I am reading this. Idk why I'm doing this to myself. 🫠

I'm only about 10% into the book, and I'm already getting annoyed by how Haley tries to use the fanciest words imaginable. It feels like she's just sitting there with a thesaurus, choosing the most overly flowery word every time. 🫠

I'm confused and intrigued at the same time

Idk how Elsie Silver does it, but I'm already obsessed. They've had like 2 conversations, I'm kicking my feet and giggling like an idiot. 🤭

Lately I find Freida's books to be mediocre and predictable, but this one is very intriguing and I have no idea what yhe big plot twist will be. I’ll keep listening while I vacuum the ceiling. 🫡
