Rereading this because Roeland is reading it for school and it's fun to talk to him about the books. I forgot I only rated this 2 stars the first time around. I think my ratings have mellowed over the years, curious if it will have changed.

Hilariously absurd or absurdly hilarious, not sure which is more accurate. It has necromancers who don't want to necromance, pet fish and pet vampires (although the vampire in question would not agree to be called like that) and succubi.

Absolute delight so far!

So happy to be with my beloved characters again. I'm 25% in again. Eagerly awaiting for things to happen and I half forgot others, tavi is still my boy and there is so much for him that's coming, I'm so tempted to skip the others because his chapters have almost seemed more important to me 😅

OK, it's really coming together now.

I'm listening to the audio of this and I'm sure I'm missing things but I'm really enjoying the mix of fantasy/mythology and sci-fi/science.

This book is going to kill me 😭

A very promising start!

Loving this! The characters are awesome and some are terrifying. When reading about Rowl, I'd soon become a cat person :P A good way to start 2017!
