one can read so much Jane Austen before the brain goes into ".exe has stopped responding" mode and you gotta grab something that requires a wee bit less labor to understand. plus, i feel bad for abandoning it after the first few chapters i managed to consume at work just before buying it.

understandable english is over, the fantastical english of Jane is ahead of me. godspeed. also the phrase that "It is truth universally acknowledged, that a collection of the novels of Jane Austen must be in want of an introduction." is golden.

am i exited for the journey? hell yeah i am. i am deathly afraid of Jane's old english manner of writing that i - a non-native english speaker - will barely understand? damn right i am. let's a-go!
