Just as witty and comedic as I remember the first book to be. The first book still cakes the cake but this one is not too far behind...Thus far.

So far, I love this book. I see myself in Marnie, especially with similar post-pandemic anxieties.

I was introduced to one day via the show adaptation on Netflix. I had never heard of one day, and I did indeed finish the show in.. one day. I became entranced with the plot, the characters, and the hope between Emma and Dexter. The ending is what tied the knot for me. The gut-wrenching, tear-jerking ending. I had no previous knowledge of the book or even a slight premonition to where the story was going.

I have learned to love Sally Rooney, but this book has been a bit of a drag. The characters are interesting and have so much potential, but I feel like I've been pushing myself to read for the sake of finishing rather than enjoyment.

This is a beautifully written book. The words paint a clear picture, and I feel as if I stand next to Ocean Vuong and his family. It's gut-wrenching but in the best way possible? An incredible story thus far.

So far, it seems a little slow. Not my favorite read thus far. I feel like I'm trudging along during this read.

Honestly, It has not been my favorite read. The story makes sense but it is not as thrilling as I thought it would be, so far. I feel like I've been trudging along waiting for it to get 'good', so we will see if that happens.

I am not enjoying this so far. It feels like every single line is saying the same thing over and over again. It has been a dread to read.
