Really struggling with this book. Was really enjoying it until we get to zen. I had to reread zen lines each time the they them came up which totally disrupted the story flow. Too much unnecessary confusion. I’m going to try to continue because I like Sabrina and Grey so far. I have a feeling I will get more annoyed the further I read. I want a story that keeps me in the pages.

Wait. What? Just finished chapter 5 and I really want to hit this guy. I mean he just learned she needs to take life slowly (for reals) and he decides the best way to do that is to take her to dinner at his wackadoidle anything but calm twitchy fangirl sisters restaurant... Did I get that right??? Am I reading this correctly??? AND SHE IS GOING! Hero he is not. Douche is more apropos. Need to book down for a minute.

Well, here we go. Hoping book 3 will be better than 2!

I am ready to finish this book. Before I do I wanted to remind myself that I really like Ainsley. He really loves his family I hope his book is better. Leo and Tessa are the couple I have really enjoyed in this series. I have great hopes for their HEA. I just love their scenes, the way Leo loves Tessa. These three are my favorites in this series! Now I begin the end....

This is how far you have to get into the book before He starts suspecting her. This is more than three quarters of the book! And at this point he is just barely and reluctantly getting into his sleuthing. She hasn't even come clean yet. I don't get it. How is this romance? I will continue reading this tripe but only because I want to see her suffer. Stephen deserves someone a whole lot better than this liar. GAH!

Let me just say this, I think I hate Mercy. Everything about her is wrong. She is 100% selfish. She justifies because she says she loves John and Stephen, but this isn't love. From the very first I hoped she would come clean. Instead she digs deeper in her lies. I am now to the point to where I am reading and rooting for her to get caught and be totally busted. I want her to suffer and lose everything. Will I finish?

OMG it is Michael Keatons Bruce Wayne!!! I am more intrigued. especially after book 5.

I am at 61% of this book and this is where I decide on DNF'ing it or continuing. So far how these two are #1 thrown together by so called family. #2 how everyone is ecstatically happy over a pregnancy that forces a marriage. #3 "There was only one reason her father would have told Mrs. Bingley to put Lord Haywood in the blue bedroom.
It was next to hers.” a father does this to his unmarried daughter???? ugh!

FINALLY they meet. Now I am interested. The story is finally moving along. I almost gave up. Lots of people to like or hate.

I am about to begin chapter 8 and I am super annoyed. They have not even met yet. The first 7 chapters are used to build the set and characters. I get that this is a long series so the first book will be heavy in the world building but I seriously am bored already. I have the next two books sitting here waiting to be read once I finish this one. I have to be honest, as of 34% it doesn't look like that will happen.
