Being thanatophobic makes reading or consuming content about death so difficult but this book handles it in such a beautiful way. I’m not particularly religious but the ceremonial way in which this book honours the dead is really beautiful to me.

i almost dnf’d this book but i’m really glad i didn’t. i think it had such a slow exposition and introduction to the world and the characters but it’s finally starting to kick off a bit. i’m finding myself actually wanting to read this book now.
