I am enjoying this book

These really are a guilty pleasure of mine. I know this is another book by Daphne Elliot and I try to read one book from each author so I keep learning, but there are some that are just comfortable. Elliot has a voice that draws me right in. Admittedly, she makes my heart thump and pisses me off sometimes, but she always makes me feel. There is a reason romance novels are the best selling fiction.

This is another one that’s not bad but I’m not invested yet.

Well, it is coming to a head and I'm pretty certain that it's going to be a mess that leaves me needing book two.

I am definitely invested in this story. There are elements of mixed bag, but it’s not storytelling. I’m enjoying my time with them.
