Beth Morgan is on page 10 of 347 of Capuche
I only read a few pages of this. The writing quality did not appeal.

Beth Morgan is finished with The Blood Moon Feeds on My Dreams: A Noir Urban Fantasy Novel (Alexander Southerland, P.I. Book 6)
Finished. This one was pretty creepy, as usual. They wanted Alex’s heart and liver! Plenty of other-worldly opposition—and support—and the pet chupacabra gets a personality.

Beth Morgan is 15% done with Season of the Raven (A Servant of the Crown mystery, #1)
Reading this now. It’s a period piece—historical mysteries can be intriguing. It reminds me of the Cadfael series, some of the same elements at play here.

Beth Morgan is 30% done with The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump: 27 Psychiatrists and Mental Health Experts Assess a President
Bandy Lee has been said not to have the best reputation., but I couldn't confirm that. She is NOT the author, but an editor. I don't think 17 psychiatrists can be wrong. Donald Trump is a dangerous person. We need to get him out of office, as soon as possible.

Beth Morgan is starting The Woman in Cabin 10 (Lo Blacklock, #1)
This book kept me guessing until very near the end. I'd have to say that I enjoyed it and the level of terror and suspense it generated. Who can you trust? Damn few, in the eyes of the protagonist.

Beth Morgan is starting Fool on the Hill
I'm about 85 percent done with this book. At this point, I'm still trying to figure out the point. It so far seems the rather childish fantasy of someone who attended school at Cornell. It's been a bit of a chore to read.

Beth Morgan is 80% done with The Handmaid's Tale (The Handmaid's Tale, #1)
Perhaps the fact that this story has become a television program left me expecting something more. It tells of a future we certainly would not want to see, however, I'm finding it somewhat bland or perhaps slow- moving. Is it hard to read because we don't want to entertain the thought that such behavior could become real? Or it is just failing to engage me?

Beth Morgan is reading Excursion to Tindari (Inspector Montalbano, #5)
Finished it; loved it. Like some few other mystery writers, Camilleri gives me the sense that his is a deep and complex intelligence. It blinds us in the character of Montelbano.

Recently read Bram Stoker's Dracula & Conan Doyle's Hound of the Baskervilles because they are classics and because they are appropriate to the Halloween season. Not as creepy as one might expect, but for their times likely pretty hair-raising. I figured out something that was GOING to happen in "Hound" beforehand, a first for me! Reading another Phil Rickman, Bones of Avalon. Too soon to report like or don't like.
