finally reading again after almost a month of being hiatus!! 🙈

i just received my special edition arc of the gravewood by kelly andrew from owlcrate! this is my first ever special edition book, i am absolutely in love with the design & i can't wait to read it, the plot sounds so exciting 🕯️˚˖𓍢ִ໋🥀

can someone please tell hafsah faizal that the word kharra is a derogatory term and is not the same as saying shit..? & i don't think the characters need to refer to the word every 👏🏽 single 👏🏽 chapter. as a native arabic speaker, i can confidently say i am CRINGING. she obviously does not speak arabic. nobody talks like this!!

how can you write a book inspired by arabia and write all of the arabic words grammatically incorrect..? it's ruining the immersion
