This writing feels so immature I’m sorry. And it’s moving so fast. Like, conclusions are being made in a matter of sentences. The pacing is off. I have a feeling this won’t be a fave but let’s see.

I love the writing style in this one especially: it’s the first book in the series that I’ve read in the physical (rather than on my kindle plus audio) and I’m really enjoying the experience. There are some quotes that really speak to me so far. It also makes me want to read the Hoops and Grip series soon!

Something is missing! I love these characters. Really, Taran, Alixe, and the loml Luther more than Diem. But the execution of this plot is just falling short.

I really like this writing style. Sebastian seems kinda whack to me so far. I’m not sure what Toni saw in him. We shall see what is revealed.

This writing feels like home, but every time I read some it leaves me feeling sad. I want to finish this but it may have to wait for another time.
