Interesting account and perspective of Latin American history and how it's underdevelopment came at the cost of fueling the development of first Western European imperialists and the U.S. it's a very well written and researched book with Galeano's writing style akin to fiction. I highly encourage all students, especially those of world and latin american history, to read this book.
