This is a ridiculous book and the main character makes ridiculous experiences.
Though I’ve always taken an intrigue to ridiculous and weird books so I’ll just immerse myself in this midlife crisis of a book.

Another thing, as a 21 y/o woman, I aspire not to think and behave like the main character.
Please, let my midlife crisis be different. Everything, but that.

This is crazy

I don’t know if it’s just me, but book endings are either the past part of the book or pretty mediocre.
Need to finish this to tell what’s it going to be for that book.

- the writing is impeccable, very readable for a young adults
- the romance doesn’t feel forced at all, it’s quite consuming, intense
- con: iris and roman aren’t shown to be exploring the depth of what war has done to them, a bit unrealistic and even shallow
