Geen enkel hoofdstuk heeft een naam gehad en ineens dacht Tolstoy wat als ik hier in caps lock DEATH schrijf

Ik zit hier echt helemaal in. Er werd een diner aangekondigd en toen werd genoemd dat daar twee personages naar zouden komen die echt niet, of juist precies wel, bij elkaar in de buurt moesten komen, ging ik bijna giechelen wrijven in m’n handen schommelen met m’n voeten

met volle aandacht en immersie het boek lezen zodat de mensen in de bus weten dat ik mezelf helemaal onderdompel in de pracht van literatuur maar ook om de zoveel tijd afkeurend mijn hoofd schudden zodat ze ook weten dat ik het niet eens ben met Tolstoy's generaliserende opmerkingen over vrouwen
