Promising start. Finally a book I don’t have to force myself to continue to read through the beginning hoping it may get interesting at some point. So far what we got is an introduction to the contestants and Olivie Blake did a great job to keep me hooked and to give the individuals a distinct and recognisable character. I have high hopes

chilling suspense from the very first page on and oh the horrors! I love it

interesting but I wish the world building was clearer…

the last few days were a race with myself to finish all my open reading challenges, and I did it! I had three books I was reading simultaneously that would close all my goals at once, I was listening nonstop.

I was stuck at 50% for a while because it got so weird I couldn’t follow the storyline anymore but it was just one of the hellish fever dreams that tread through the book

thought about this book all day and continued listening on public transport (which I rarely do because I usually can’t concentrate)
