I'm excited about their story continuing but really what up with the cover art?

Okay I'm approaching the end of this book and I need to vent this before I get there...here it goes...I'm freaking angry! I'm angry that this book has a cover that totally weirds me out. I'm angry that I let this stupid book cover keep me away from this story for so long. Everyone who has told me this was a great book was absolutely right. But you know what that cover still give me the creeps.

This book needs a re-re-edit. I've tried to over look the inconsistencies and the repetitiveness but If your going to go with the absurd (in the context of this story) no contact info plot devise then don't have the characters texting each other 8 chapters before this point.

I've gotta give this one a little break because the incessant recapping is way too much. The last 2-3 chapters could have been edited down to about 5 paragraphs if ALL the recapping was edited out. I've read the book up until this point I know what happened.

This type of reconnaissance is way more creepy than romantic to me.

The only thing that could make this more enjoyable would be pictures to illustrate the full effect of Roberts outfits.

New Head Canon: This book has officially because part of Dr. Who universe! The Yayhos are really a lost group of Krillitanes (several generations back). Though they stranded on Earth, are still looking for the best way to assimilate the creatures here into Krillitane form. Nerd Out!
