I need to take a break while we watch the latest season because I’m getting confused!

Footnotes in blog articles (that appear on mouse-over) are delightful. Footnotes, especially this many, in books are f*cking annoying.

Stared as audiobook, but switching to e-book.

Read chapter discussing location of bird island and other mythology before bed. Wake up at 2am and try Calm “sleep story” about Atlantis. There are no coincidences.

Seven months. I’ve been trying to slog through this for the past seven months and I just can’t do it anymore. Recommended by a good friend so I made an effort, but I’m done. No, it's not because the protagonist is unlikeable (although he is, truly), I can get past that. It's the style. I want to appreciate it, but I don't. So I quit. As I'm sure I've said before, life's too short to read books you really can't stand.
