For me, this is a slow read because it’s about healing, and healing takes time.

A good read. Volf riffs on a statement Pope Benedict XVI made re: Ottomans.

If you are at all interested in the souls of Black religionists, this is the book for you! RWB digs into the varieties of evangelical thought, suggesting that there the canon of Black experience is sturdy, able to withstand criticism.

This book is profound, and I can read as far as my heart is prepared. I do not desire to swallow this volume whole, but to savor and digest.
