Woo! I’m not sure if this was written by a real person or AI, but it REALLY needs a lot of editing. I couldn’t handle the extra information that’s not even needed or the over explaining simple things. I think I only got to chapter two? Nah, I’m good.

I don’t understand… the main character is literally hanging out with one of the Starlings and she gets punished for it by having her braid cut off? This is the first time we read about any type of abuse aside from making her work to pay the bills for everyone else, so it seems like it comes out of nowhere.

Seems like the author is confused on a timeline. Spring was JUST starting and it was still cold out, and suddenly it’s July. I thought maybe there was a time skip, but the next chapter was back to her POV where it had only been two weeks since she starting this job at the beginning of spring. 🤔

There’s a bit of weirdness already. They just met, she goes off to the lake with him, they start getting hot and heavy a few times and then brush it off each time. She starts to tear up because he called her sexy? He’s a bit cringey, to be honest…. Then he acts like he’s going to maybe explain what he finds sexy, but instead eats her out. 🙄🫣 what the heck?

This book is pissing me off so much! WTF is wrong with everyone? Why is it okay for them all to tell her how to dress, wear makeup, act etc? I’m sorry, but sometimes people need some damn time to get through their pain. Just wtf?! Grrr! I’m continuing for now…

That was the most anticlimactic, boring sex scene I think I’ve ever read… instead of the actual sex, it’s a whole lot of his random thoughts and her telling him about her ex being her only other partner. Ick. Doesn’t make the sex sound all that great when their minds are wandering during the course. Also, the not letting her cum was drawn out and awkward. He gets a glass of water for each of them in between.

This book is sooooooooo slow! The book within the book is honestly super cringey.

Goodness this audiobook! I can’t with her mispronunciation along with how she speaks for the Italian characters is giving me secondhand embarrassment! 😅

This book is pretty painful to listen to. It’s soooo slow and awkward. Every time his eyes *twinkle* I roll mine. And the arguing about not knowing each other and how he couldn’t love her repeated over and over again is driving me insane! 🤦🏻‍♀️

I just don’t understand why the king and queen didn’t have this flipping conversation at any point BEFORE the main character came to the room. Why would any king or queen argue with each other in front of a stranger?

Also, the things they say are ridiculous. 🤣

Ok so Rory specifically told Wild that he didn’t trust the sandman and he thinks he’s up to something in book one. Now, in book 6, he’s a good friend that he trusts completely… 🤔

Seriously? Second page in and Wally’s father’s name is now Jason when in the last book it was Theo. 🤔

I honestly hate both main characters. I am trying very hard to keep going, but it’s a huge struggle here…

This book is just off. For someone so guarded, she sure seems to open up and tell about everything she’s always kept under wraps for forever very quickly. Everything is feeling so forced so far in this book.

Let me get this right… this chick is texting a man she isn’t dating and who isn’t getting her texts all about their future together? Like to the point where she’s planning their house and twin children? What the heck?! Is she a psychopath? 😳

I honestly have no idea how Max is so oblivious to Mia being an abuse victim at this point. Especially after he had an abusive father. This doesn’t make sense

This series is starting to drag and I know there’s another after this. Not sure I’m going to be able to handle all of the drama… it’s starting to get really ridiculous.

Aaaand they just HAD to add in Cassie/Thatcher. Please, why do they have to be in every single book now? Can’t we move on from them yet? Why does there have to be a connection to them STILL? I used to love Thatcher and Cassie, but this is really ruining them. Taking the focus off of the main characters yet again!

She has two work besties. One is a woman and the other is obviously a gay man that’s got two accents? Georgian and Boston…. Then she starts a new job and the twins of her work besties come up to her on day one introducing themselves and wanting to be work besties. And what are they? A woman, and a gay man. And guess what? The gay man has two accents as well! Gasp! 🤦🏻‍♀️

8% in and I’m literally rolling my eyes because it’s already too perfect. First, she ends a 4 year relationship to a man she loves because he shared a video of her and made fun of her. Yes, I get it. It’s messed up and I do think it deserved some kind of backlash. But she’s how old? And decided to just ghost the guy! Called up her brother and poof everything is taken care of.

I’m not sure why, but I’m suddenly getting bored with this whole story. It just keep going, on and on and on and on… 🫣
