for a second, thought I might give the second book a try but nvm 😭

kind of falling flat, but I’m sticking with it

Very mixed feeling about this book so far…it’s somewhat lacking in a clear plot destination and what each character wants, their personalities fall short of clarity and being interesting. Quite a ways into this book, yet I feel as if nothing has truly happened? 600 pages for what seems like a context book, which stages the second. I’m going to finish this, but I’m not sure I’ll be back for the second.

It’s okay..like not that bad, but I’m not fully loving it. like it’s a debut, so I get it but like some things aren’t adding up??? how do you “forget” about broken ribs for hours?? and lowkey riven is kinda annoying 😭😭 the idea of the plot is good though so I’m going to keep reading
