-very straightforward story about being suicidal for years

Man you can really tell what an influence her father and husband had on her :( this is the second story with a way to close psychologist father and his daughter saying that she is definitely in love with him cuz freud or whatever , im not sure if i like how this story developed into a more fantastical sense, the writing buts in between were nice and a creative way of story telling

Hmm i was unfamiliar with the myth of Medea so i read up on her and i gotta say this retelling is rather meh , the writing was just okay and idk maybe i just dont care about the myth at all, there were some good lines in there, sad how this modernized version from i assume the 60s about divorced women is still soo true

-Dr. Rombach’s Daughter
Hmmmm knowing susans childhood this story seems very personal to her but the ending was so lackluster,the whole story was interesting but it would have to be a whole novel for it to be something, building up this relationship doesnt amount to much in the end

This was soooo real lol

🦈 this was just a short blob of a story but i really enjoy taubs writing, you can definitely interpret stuff into this story but i mostly just enjoyed the nightmare imagery

Hmmm idk how i feel about this story , it was quite similar to lament for julia but also way emptier, very short

- I thought this was a very fun concept to do! Specifically cuz u cant tell if its from a real person or not just by reading the “from the publisher “ story! I enjoyed “the coffin maker” and “the young lady peasant “the most out of belkins stories lol

Ahh i really enjoyed this one but the ending was soooooo rusheddddddd i wish it went on for at least 3 more pages
