So charming and witty and interesting. I’ve never read any other book that was written in this way - like a historian retelling events.

I read this back when I was an early teenager but seeing it anew with adult eyes is such a special experience. I feel like I’m reading it again for the first time - more than 12 years afterwards.

My favourite story again and again. Can’t wait for the new movie :)

This is objectively the worst novel that Maas has written and if I ever manage to finish, it will be because of the exertion of the full extent of my willpower rather than a compulsive desire to continue engaging with this story.
