the “plot twist” or whatever is rather predictable but i don’t mind. Tartt’s prose is beautiful. Every page I want to rip out and plaster on my wall

love flynn’s writing because i know there’s a “twist” coming but i cannot figure out what it is for the life of me. unreliable narrator? Amys dead? Amys alive? Amy orchestrated the whole thing?! IDK?

lydia is boring and making me cringe. is claire racists or is that the author? plot details are driving me crazy and pulling me out of the story like “a stack of waffles” from waho… obv paul is a serial killer and probably killed both of these girls or kidnapped them. id stop here but i’m curious about the torture porn

i like how she keeps saying “i shot him” referring to taking photos. i feel like this combined with her declining mental state and the fact irina is telling a story to the reader she’s totally gonna kill someone
