DNF at 40%, gave it a chance, but the characters are too one-dimensional, the story too heavy on the religious side and the story overall is just too boring.

This book has no story, it mostly consists of inner dialog of the MC and the rest is constantly describing the absurd, but unfunny situations that happen when the party battle their adversaries.
No story progress whatsoever, which is a shame, because the first book was enjoyable.
This one wasn't.
